EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
HILTON Hotels Corp, took over the top spot from Merle Norman Cosmetics on the list of Los Angeles-based franchisers, with 2,050 franchised locations worldwide. Merle Norman, No. 2, reported 1,940 franchised locations, up 16 from the previous year. IHOP Corp. remained No. 3 on the list with 1,242 franchised locations, up 67 locations from the previous year.
